Come work with us! HLVRCD is seeking applicants to fill (1) seasonal, part-time position. 

 

This position works under direct supervision of the HLV RCD Restoration Program Coordinator and the District Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technician will assist the Restoration Program Coordinator with restoration projects within the HLV RCD’s service area. Position duties may include the following depending on program needs:

●      Hydrological monitoring and data collection

●      Riparian restoration

●      Invasive species management

●      Native reseeding/establishment

●      Contractor oversight

●      Environmental compliance with CEQA/NEPA requirements

This includes direct support for all current restoration projects including grant oversight, budgeting, and project planning, developing reports and invoices, outreach and education, collaboration with partner agencies, councils, and community groups, and other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and paid leave.
