CalRecycle Awards $49,932 for Illegal Dump Site Cleanup! - 11/16/2021
Honey Lake Valley Resource Conservation District (HLVRCD) has been awarded funding from CalRecycles Farm & Ranch Solid Waste Abatement Program!
HLVRCD requested $49, 932.00 to clean up a 29.5 acre site in Herlong, CA. Project funds will include collection and disposal of illegally dumped waste, including cars, portable buildings, tires, household trash, and more. After disposal/recycling of the estimated 125 tons of dumped materials, gates and fencing will be installed to prevent access from the main roadway.
