Brittney Osborn
Brittney is a native Nevadan who has worked in various capacities, including as a sawyer on a Nevada Conservation Corp crew, a forestry technician for a private consulting company in northern California, a wildland fire inmate crew supervisor with Nevada Division of Forestry, and an air quality specialist with Washoe County AQMD. She joined the HLVRCD in January of 2023 and is now developing and leading the Lassen Prescribed Burn Association (PBA). She hopes to promote the use of "good fire" in Lassen County by empowering residents through learning opportunities and training and coordinating live fire events.
Brittney completed her B.S. in Forest Ecology & Management with a minor in Rangeland Ecology & Management from University of Nevada and is currently in her last semester working towards her Master of Natural Resources in Fire Ecology & Management through University of Idaho. In her spare time, she enjoys big game hunting, fly fishing, hiking big mountains, wrenching on her truck, and spending time with her partner and 3 dogs.
